Tree felling in Stellenbosch: oak town and the farms around it

Stellenbosch is called the town of oaks for a reason: oak avenues line the old town and many of those trees are well over a century old. The street trees on the pavement and verge belong to the municipality, so we do not cut those. On your side of the boundary it is your tree, and that is where we come in.

Town jobs are usually in established suburbs such as Die Boord, Mostertsdrift, Uniepark and Paradyskloof: a large oak, pine or gum close to the house, with tight access and neighbours on every side. Farm and estate work around Jonkershoek, Banhoek and Devon Valley is different: long rows of gum and pine windbreaks along vineyard blocks, dead trees in orchards and invasive wattle on the edges of the property.

How we price multi-tree work

On farms and estates we walk the whole property with you, mark every tree that needs to go or be cut back, and give you one written price for the lot. If you would rather spread the cost, we can split the work into phases and price each one separately.
